FAQs

  • Each Partner Theater Group, including the CAC-HD, is responsible for selling its own tickets. You can visit our TICKETS page for more info on where to purchase tickets, or you can buy them at the Box Office on the day of the performance. (Subject to availability**)

The Box Office opens a half-hour prior to each performance and accepts cash, check, credit, and debit only.

**Be aware that each Partner Theater Group sets its own ticket prices and regulations. CAC-HD is not responsible for price discrepancies and cannot make accommodations accordingly, although most Partner Theater Groups have special discounts for Senior Citizens and kids.

  • No. The CAC-HD is a nonprofit entity that rents the building from the City of Victorville and acts as its managing agent. We book the calendar with events and productions for the community to enjoy, but each Partner Theater Group produces, casts, and runs its own show/event.

The CAC-HD does have its own sponsored events throughout the year, including workshops, classes, art exhibits, and main-stage productions.

  • For performances, there is street parking and a public parking lot across the street from the theater. On performance days, the gated parking lots surrounding the CAC-HD will be reserved for handicapped and senior members of our community. Parking in the gated lot is on a first-come, first-served basis only.**

For rehearsals, the gated parking lots will be open and available for cast and crew access and locked during rehearsal time.

**PLEASE DO NOT DOUBLE PARK IN THE GATED PARKING LOT.

  • Currently, the CAC-HD does not have general hours of operation open to the public as we undergo renovations to the building. Please visit our CONTACT US page for ways to get in touch if you have more questions or inquiries.

  • Your safety is a priority to the CAC-HD. The City of Victorville recently erected a wrought-iron fence around the perimeter of the property to ensure the safety of our crew, volunteers, and guests.

Please be advised that CAC-HD is not responsible for any vehicle damage or stolen items.

  • Yes! There is a ramp for those that need help entering the building and can not tackle stairs. Please have someone from your party locate a member of our Hospitality Team in the lobby so that we may assist you on performance days. The Handicap entrance is not open for general admittance.

Our theater is also equipped with a wheelchair seating area. Ask a member of our Hospitality Staff for assistance and we will gladly help you find that area. If a person in your party is able to transfer from a mobile transport unit to one of our new theater seats, we will happily store your wheelchair or motorized scooter for you during the performance, and deliver it to you after. We are here to help!

  • *Be on time. It shows respect for the actors on the stage and your fellow theater-goers.

*Keep your shoes on and don’t put your feet on the chair or armrest in front of you.

*Refrain from eating or drinking in the theatre. All snacks/beverages should be consumed in the lobby. (Cough drops or mints are fine, but unwrap prior to the show).

*Do not talk during a live performance once it has begun.

*Take your hat off, if you are wearing one that might block another person’s view.

*Stay awake. Snoring, or leaning your head on a neighbor’s shoulder when you fall asleep is absolutely unacceptable.

*Turn off your cell phone (not on silent) and put it out of reach. Even the light or buzzing can distract others.

*Do not sing along. Unless asked to sing along by the actors on the stage, refrain from singing, humming, or whistling the tunes you hear. (If you want to use your musical prowess, check out our website for the next audition opportunity.)

*No filming or photographing of any production is allowed, according to licensing/Copyright laws.

*Theatre is an art form, not a sporting event, so be aware that certain behaviors (like whistling, catcalls, or cheering on a friend by calling out their name) are not appropriate. The best way to honor performers is with enthusiastic applause.

  • The CAC-HD has worked tirelessly to ensure that you and your family are attending a show in a safe environment. The theater is cleaned regularly to ensure you and your family can enjoy any given event with peace of mind.

CAC-HD follows local guidelines and COVID safety protocols issued by local and state government.
